Federico Reiner

Hello. My name is Federico Emmanuel Reiner, I’m 20 years old, and during 2013 I’ll be working as a volunteer at LHM Argentina. I’m from the city of Bahía Blanca, Buenos Aires, Argentina, and I’m studying my third year at Seminario Concordia.

562129_10200319291698732_988383_nGod called me to be his servant, and it is my pleasure to tell you that I want to be a pastor, missing half yet, but with the help of God, it’s an achievable goal. Also, at the end of the year, I’ll have my pre-vicariate, which I look forward.

All my life there was people who told me if I would be interested to join the seminary, but I did not pay much attention. It was not until a few years ago when I finish high school, that my goal changed, just when entered the university to study medicine. So a week before classes begun I realized that this was not the way, and I came to the seminary.

My work at the Foundation is simple, I’m here four hours a week, in which I get calls, prepare materials packages for different congregations or missions, or just help callers who need some material to read. Also, I order the materials, select biblical texts for the 2014 calendar, etc. and the same time, I learn a lot of administration.

It is a blessing to help others, and carry the message of the Gospel of Christ, and I am to help where I can to anyone who needs it, here with Ingrid and Gloria. I thank God for this opportunity to grow as a person and as a Christian. I send my regards to each of you, blessings.

Jesus says in John 6:35, 40: “I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.

For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day”.

The Strength of Prayer

We are a group to  Crespo´s city in Entre Rios. We are studying the Bible course “The Strength of Prayer” of LHM Argentina . We have the opportunity to learn more about the Bible and about ourselves. The Bible says that God always hears our prayers , and we believe this!

Know that the Lord has set apart his faithful servant for himself;

the Lord hears when I call to him. Salm 4:3

Pablo Gonzalez

My name is Pablo Dario González, I am student of Seminario Concordia in Buenos Aires, currently studying my third year. So, as my colleagues have done in previous years, this year I am doing an internship in the  LHM Argentina , on the eve of my pre-vicariate.

305369_275352055834180_573521701_nI come from the province of Misiones in northeastern Argentina. I inherited the Lutheran faith by being baptized in the church in which my mother participated. Since childhood my parents kept me close to the activities of the church and the Word of God. It was always my liking to participate in the activities of the church, although I had never crossed my mind coming to the seminary to enable me and so then to serve in the church as pastor. So it was that in the meantime come and go without clear direction, I always kept active in the church, and when I finished normal binding studies, entered the Faculty of Psychology. It was there, that so much confusion and driving on a path whereby I did not see the point, that God opened my eyes and brought me to the seminary. The interesting thing is that now I do not want to think about anything else than this: to serve the people to receive the gift of Jesus Christ.

So today I’m still here, certainly doing what I like and what I firmly believe I was called. In my tasks, I wish to serve on this foundation to be a tool for us to lead people to the church of Christ Crucified, the what is given to us as a gift and divine gift, in the preaching of the word, in Baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe. For Jews demand signs and Greeks seek wisdom, but we preach Christ crucified

1 Corinthians 1:21-23a

So here we are, hoping to contribute to the function of this foundation to be a bridge between the world and the church. I thank the Seminario Concordia and  LHM Argentina  giving me the opportunity to serve and to receive training for be a better instrument for God. Amen.
